The band has entered its second decade since its formation. Despite all the challenges along the way — personal circumstances, the members’ everyday commitments, and the distance between them — Zhnec continues to create music, record new material, and perform live shows.

This has all been made possible by the strong bond between the members. They are not only musicians, but close friends and passionate creators who believe that nothing is impossible. Their desire to make their own music has always been their greatest priority.

The lyrical themes of the band are diverse. The albums usually do not follow a single, strict concept. When writing lyrics, the band draws inspiration from events of the distant past, fantasy worlds, the folklore of different cultures, and their own vision of life.

The band often deliberately exaggerates certain themes and ideas in order to enhance the emotional impact and intensity of the material.
